Fridays!

Dear students,

For those of you that were kind enough to not show up on Tuesday you should know that Fridays are optional tutorial days for the remainder of the year.
That means if you need one you have to book one with me and in advance.
This decision has been made to allow for more time for all of you to produce work in the last few weeks of the year.

So if you desire a tutorial on Friday you will have to email me before 12:00 noon the Thursday before.
If there is a situation where less then 5 people ask for tutorials they may take place at my studio rather then the university.

Don’t worry Tuesdays will be tutorial days guaranteed!

After this week:
2nd year students have 4 weeks till final reviews!!
3rd year students have 5 weeks till final reviews!!

So if you are in need of a tutorial Friday you should email me back soon!

Best,

Jeff

Tuesday the 25th

Term 3 starts on Monday the 24th!

We will be meeting for tutorials on Tuesday the 25th.
At the tutorials we expect to see significant progress on the Lightness House project.
Basic materials that should be present at the tutorials for discussion are:

Plans
Sections
Elevations
Views / Axonometrics / Perspectives etc…
And models! Models are very important for Tuesday!!!

You should all be able to describe the strategies and layouts for the space and how the building stands up by now!
Also what is your position on LIGHTNESS? What is your position on the PRIVATE HOUSE?
For those of you that we have not heard from or seen any development (that is what the BLOG is there for) we expect to see exceptional amounts and quality of work on Tuesday.

For a look at the time schedule for the rest of the year check the blog http://www.degree-unit-d.net/unit_news/ , it was posted back in January!

Tutorials!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Students,

I am starting to get about a bit more so this means I may be able to see some of you for tutorials.
My guess is that some of you want or need one or maybe two of them over the break.
If you are one of these individuals email me to make some arrangements.
The tutorials will take place at my studio.
When I see you I expect to see progress, your technical studies in the correct format for the submission, etc………
Not much time left in the year so make it count!!!!!!
