Portable Single Person Dwelling
The aim of the first project is to create one person dwelling and use structural elements found in nature as a starting point for our designs.
I started looking into pond reeds plant and how there able to stand up to one meter despite the leaves being very thin and almost flat. The reed plant use’s a system of internal air chambers and a unique shape to create structural strength.
